At St. Paul's Preschool & Daycare, we take pride in a well-educated and experienced staff who love children!

  • Corrie Upton

    Director, teacher

    Ms. Corrie received her degree from Kaplan University and has been a teacher since 2014. She has worked with infants, toddlers and preschool age children, has worked in the Montessori Autism Program, and also with individuals with developmental disabilities with The Arc of Amador and Calaveras.

  • Ruth Kruithoff

    Teacher, 4-5 year class, "Sonshiners", Music teacher

    Ms. Ruthie grew up in Hawaii, and received her B.A. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Hawaii. She has over 35 years experience teaching preschool and kindergarten in Christian schools. In addition to being our lead teacher in the Sonshiners class, Ruthie plays guitar and teaches music at St. Paul's Preschool.

  • Ali Rehrman

    teacher, 4-5 year class "Sonshiners"

    Ms. Ali is a recent graduate of Cal Poly University, where she majored in Liberal Studies and minored in Child Development. After spending a couple of years working as a tutor while she finished her degree, she decided to embark on teaching in the world of preschool. This is her first year teaching Pre-K and she’s excited to learn and grow as a teacher with us this school year.

  • Alyssa Collins Schooler

    Teacher, 2-4 year class "bright stars"

    Ms. Alyssa comes to us from the Bay Area, where she taught for 12 years at a Christian preschool in Cupertino. She has earned two associate’s degrees- one in Child Development and the other in Social & Behavioral Sciences. On top of her degrees, Alyssa also has certification as an Early Intervention/Special Education Assistant and is gifted musically and theatrically. She is a lifelong learner and is always looking to learn and grow within the early childhood field. 

  • Jill Hardin

    administrator

    Jill is from Jefferson City, Missouri, and received her B.A. in Theology and Director of Christian Education Certification from Concordia University, Nebraska, where she met her husband David. Jill also leads programs in youth, family and women's ministries for St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
